Who is Universal Hotel Supply?
After spending many years immersed in hospitality textiles, Lauren Ross founded Universal in 1996 to fill a void in hotel supply: personalized service, unlimited sourcing, and transparent communication.
Having worked for large hotel suppliers, she saw that most companies weren’t operating in their customers’ best interest: their offering was limited to the products they manufactured, regardless of whether it met their customers’ needs; and their relationships were transactional rather than listening to their clients and building long-term, trusted relationships.
Today, Universal is a team of hospitality veterans who consistently go above and beyond.. Textile expertise is still at our core, and we bring a lifestyle-focused approach to our sourcing and product development. We strongly believe in educating our customers and being their industry advocate: staying ahead of trends and technology, distinguishing hype from true value and innovation.
